Guild Wars is a MMORPG. If you don’t know what that is, it is a Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game. Guild Wars is unique compared to many of the other MMORPGs. For starters the graphics of Guild Wars are amazing. They will blow your mind with amount of detail it has. And this is for a PC game! The UI (user interface) is user friendly and very easy to learn. When you first create a new character it will give you the option of RP or PvP. RP is role-playing, so basicly you’ll start from scratch. PvP is Player vs. Player, so you’ll start at lvl 20 (the lvl cap) and you’ll only be able to do Arena and GvG battles. Guild Wars has a lot of classes to choose from. If you don’t have the expansion, you can only be Warrior, Ranger, Elementalist, Mesmer, Necromancer, and Monk. When you name your character you need to have 2 words in your name. That is sometimes a hassle, but you get used to it after a while.
Guild Wars Follows a Storyline and all the quests are not all exactly the same. They all have to do with the story and help you finish the story. As do the missions. In guild wars when you get to a mission, you need to find a party who also wants to do the mission. It is similar to the World of Warcraft instances. The difference is, it will give you what exactly you need to do in the mission through your quest log.
One very nice thing about Guild Wars is that it doesn’t matter how low a lvl you are, you can still have good looking armor.
Well thats it for now,
